Well, the transition to country boy is officially complete, as you can see. You can't live in the country without having a tractor, ... or at least a nieghbor that will loan you one, which is the case here.

Because we are building some new rock walls in the front area, we borrowed the tractor to move the rocks. And it takes a LOT of rocks to build a rock wall. Which is why the farmer used to build them. (The have been called linear land fills.) And we have a lot of rocks on Braintree Hill. All of these rocks came from our property, and we haven't even put a dent in it. Other than being a lot of hard physical work, it is rather rewarding, ... when it is done.

Anyway, it makes a big improvement replacing the old cinder block wall with the rock wall.

See you all soon.

awesome! Too bad you can't keep the tractor - it suits you. Do you and Linda have rock-moving muscles now? Probably better than going to the gym. Looking forward to seeing you in Tahoe. 00 K & B

Who's the old fart on the tractor? My baby brother?
Looks like fun. Looking forward to seeing you all in Truckee.

My name is Brian Caulfield. I bought this domain name many years ago, so I could grab it before some squatter began charging me to get mail at brian[at]caulfield.net. Now that I've got the email address I wanted, I've got this Web site too. I've always figured I'd try to make it a resource. A "blog" seems to be the right way to do that.
